(turn down the volume - it’s just a bunch of inane drunk people and erik and I going “DUDE!” “NICE!” “WOOHOO!” or whatever)

Don’t know what anyone else thought, but I’m a professional pyrotechnician myself and I thought it was underwhelming. There were occasional nice effects, but it was slow and had a lot of dead space. It appeared to me that they probably had a firing system problem about a minute and a half in…there was almost 30 seconds of dead time. The finale was just a ‘pffft’.

I thought it was pretty nifty, but definately could have been bigger and cooler. I got spoiled on “big awesome incredible” fireworks while living in Okazaki, Japan, which is famous for the fireworks that are made there.
