Rap Snacks!
Filed Under Blog, Photo Journal, The Funny
I swear, I am not even making this up. RAP SNACKS. My friend Amber had these sitting on her coffee table a while ago when I went to visit, and I couldn’t stop staring and eventually had to take a photo. They’re “honey BBQ” flavor. But… RAP SNACKS? Are they snacks for eating whilst one listens to rap? Or snacks for those who rap? Maybe both. Maybe neither! How mysterious…
I didn’t eat any. I didn’t even know what they WERE. Were they pork rinds? Were they crisps? What exactly WAS a “rap snack?” And, if I had eaten one, would I have suddenly gained the ability to spit mad rhymes and freestyle wicked hardcore? Or perhaps my “bling” quotient would have dramatically increased, causing all the honeys to come to me like moths to a light bulb. The possibilities were truly endless, the powers beyond imagination, with which I may have been endowed by partaking of the Rap Snacks, but I chose not to. The risk was too great, the power too frightening. I couldn’t risk the possibly deadly consequences of the Rap Snacks.
See, on the other hand, maybe eating a “rap snack” would have given me mad street cred, putting me directly in the middle of a gang war. Or a East Coast West Coast rivalry. Or something.
I’m not sure. But there they were. Rap snacks.

I spent a bit of time working on cybergeisha.net this morning.
I added a new page to the site titled The List. It is a list of things about which I’ve said “I should…” or “I need to learn to…” or “Before I die, I want to…” Basically, it is an ongoing roadmap to things I have done and want to do, in an attempt to look at my life and see where I want to go and show people the same.
In a less “deep/meaningful” update, I’ve also added a graphical link to My Flickr Account, which updates with recent photos as I upload them to Flickr. I have also added a link to my bookmarks on del.icio.us. Additionally, I fixed a bunch of little things that were irritating me about the layout of the site, and I doubt that the average reader will notice but I feel a lot better about the design now. Oh, especially because the content area doesn’t look so lame and skinny anymore. The whole site is really coming together.
In the near future, I am planning to submit a few t-shirt designs on ThreadLess.com, so I have a Profile there - I already have a few slogans/text logos up for voting, so you should get an account and vote for me ;)

Keyword with the Most Google Hits

Inspired by a post I found on Digg stating that the search term “a” had the most google results the author was able to find on Google, I did a little research. And I found a keyword with far more hits.
I searched for “www and tipped the scales with 25,270,000,000 results. Good lord! Several other words or phrases scored very high, and to be honest a couple I expected to be among the highest were nowhere NEAR any of the numbers brought up by a few of these.
The Way I Werk It

Oh man, the Information Society references just don’t stop.
This is my cubicle at work - not bad, huh? Yeah, I’m pretty much a big hotshot executive… *cough* Okay, that’s not true. But it’s a pretty good desk setup, and the chair is comfy!
It was not this nice to begin with. Before, I had a really crappy tiny little desk - like one of those study cubbies at the library. This cubicle is huuuuuuge!!! It’s new, actually. The entire client care section just moved downstairs within the building in which we operate, so we got huge new desks and nice chairs. I have a window! I personalized my cube with all the awesome stuff I could, but it’s still… well… work.
