Basically, I spent today pampering myself after a somewhat rough week. I got paid recently so I finally went out and bought the Triggerfinger MIDI Pad I’ve wanted ever since I saw it at MacWorld Expo in July 2005. Now, if you know me, you known I’m not a composer. But I actually WROTE some MUSIC today. I’m really going to like this. I’m all about drumbeats.

Let’s see.

I also decided that since I know I need both a hobby and more exercise, I decided to check something off of The List and get a pair of roller skates. And teach myself to skate. That’s not quite accurate, I suppose, since I already know how to skate. But not well.

Anyway, I figured with summer coming to a close and nothing to do but kill time and lay around when I’m not at work, I needed to start doing things that MATTER to me. Things I WANT to do. So I’m going to start teaching myself electronic drum sequencing and brushing up my roller skating. I’m excited - I love challenges!

And last but not least… Postmaster P, the cat, looooooves sleeping in the FREAKIN’ BATHTUB. What an oddball.
